Went hunting today and only found one coin 1943 quarter in the middle of a field. I didn't think much about it until I got home and started looking in my coin book. After careful examination it looks to be a 1943 s Washington double die obverse quarter. Would you sumbit this coin to one of the magazines or forums? It seems these are kinda rare.

lol...you can't just post this without a pic :rage: If you did find one it is an expensive coin and I'd be singing from the rooftops ! Congrats. Why not submit pictures and story to both?

Second the pics!!!

Did you click on the pic to enlarge it? If you do look closely at the lettering, it is slightly doubled

I saw it, look at the "L" in Liberty bottom corner..... Is this the actual quarter you found? ......NGE
