forget the Sony DSC-U60 and forget what I said earlier....

I stumbled across this baby at the camera shop and "WOW" is all I can say. It takes better shots than my A620 and it is super small.

Bia will be happy!

This is the Nikon cool pix S5 with a water "resistant" housing. It's good for 9.7 feet depths. It is very light and it's under $500. I paid $460 for this set. The Sony DSC-U60, like Max's, is selling at prices over $450 and it's only 3 Mega-pixel. These cool cameras are out there and are becoming available with housings for the surf!

Very nice camera Steve. I reckon Bia will have a lot of fun with it. I've got to by an underwater housing for my camera. It'll cost me about $250.00. The camera I use to take my detecting shots is a Canon Powershot A80, 4 mega pixels. My hubby has a Nicon 3 with an underwater strobe, but I felt it was too heavy and fiddly to use for myself.
