look here- 1 hour in his yard// if that- :rage: not even enough time to figure out how to ground balance the damn thing!--they think they know everything out the box- manual? what manual? why bother?-

I knew he was only here to stir the pot--

could tell something was fishy- one of his beefs was having to send it back for updates- but low an behold he had an updated one and describes it as "one of the best on the market"???????????? before he turns around and rips it on here?????? sour grapes cause he lost money with feeBay---:nopity: :nopity::nopity:

Makes U wonder how in the world the dude ever figured out the DFX--
for my next prediction-- Ill bet his DFX is still on preset:nerd: :geek:

Guys my new T2 has to go so I posted it up on Ebay for sale. Here it is if you want to check it out. [cgi.ebay.com]

Item location: Elizabethton TN, United States

You are bidding on a Teknetics T2 Professional metal detector. They retail for $999. Here is your chance to get a steal on one. This detector was put together and tested in my back yard for about one hour. It is as new. It is the latest model with all of the updates and the Dp mode. I am having to sell it so my loss is your gain. This is a great detector and is one of the newest out and one of the best on the market. Do not let this deal get away from you.

Also, in his earlier post he said he used it for 2 months, twice a week. But, when selling it he said he only used it for an hour ??????

He must work for Whites in the advertising department.

what's he asking for it. the $999 is $200 more tahn the dealers sell them for. how much of a steal is it.

Frankly, IMO, anyone that ever said the DFX is tops, is just an opinion source I choose to disregard from the get go. ;)

Well let ol' DFX Danny swing his Whites. That means more stuff out there for use to find. The metal detector gods will deal with the likes of him.

it looks like he's getting his feet wet with his new Nautilus. Won't be near as much left behind as there was with his favorite black detector. Too bad he won't get to see how well the T2 and Nauty can compliment each other.

Hello Brad,

I agree, Won't be hardly anything left for the black box detector to recover after the Nautilus 2b or T-2 detect an area if the user is skilled enough.

I have and use both, Before the T-2 my Nautilus 2B was the detector I used to get both the smaller targets and the deeper signals. The 2B has a remarkable fast recovery speed and great separation but for most parts of California it surfers poor stability due to the harsh mineralization which is were the T-2 pulls ahead of the Nautilus 2B.

I am fortunate to live in an area of Ca. the Nautilus operates well, So it was the first detector I experienced having a really fast recovery speed and separation for relic hunting until the T-2 came out and now the T-2 is my main Relic and coin detector.

I use several other top-end detectors for relic hunting or searching old lots, but always it's the T-2 I use the most

I'm only a spectator here, but I suppose one or two can get out that arent calibrated correctly or a wire is loose or something. But dam, everyone who has a T2 just raves about it.
FWIW - I just checked eBay and there is not a used T2 listed.

I need to test drive one of these those things.

I did have to sell the one I had because it was not worth burning batteries up in. May have had a bad one but I do not think so. Like I said in the first post I have had and used about every top end detector out. The T2 is the worst one I have ever owned. The Ace 250 is better than the T2. I detect about three days a week and own White's minelab's a Troy Shadow and Nautilus detector. So talk S#!t if you want but I had the T2 long enough to know I did not want it. Tried warn folks to try it before you buy it but you are so brand loyal you just want to talk smack. If you have one and like it go out and detect with it and lets see some pictures. If you want to see some pictures check out the MXT Forum they seem to be finding a lot over there.

Was new with warranty card not filled out yet. The one I had was worthless to me. Sold on Ebay for $450 if I remember correct.

Freddie asked you a couple of questions, and you skirted around them.

If it was so darn new, why didn't you do what he asked in his post ?

I can't imagine any dealer not paying you $450. for it, seeing dealer cost is well above that.

Bill
I did not like the T2 It was two months old I had never even sent in the warranty card yet. It may have had a problem I can not be sure as it is the first and last T2 I ever used. Dealer cost is around $550 on the T2. I sold it on ebay and it brought less than cost. I did not like it and wanted to warn potential buyers to give one a try before they buy it. Never avoided any questions. Repeat after me the T2 is not the only detector made. If swinginggmydfx did not like his and thought it was a piece of crap it is OK. I can still use mine and be happy with it with out b!t@hing and name calling.
