I can hardly believe it!!!

Bought an MXT about 6 months ago, and started reading Monte's posts about the machine. Sure learned a lot from him.

After a while I realized Monte preferred the analog XL Pro. Got me to thinking about the fact that I much prefer using analog test equipment for electrical and electronics testing. Can't tell much from flying numbers on a digital meter screen, but the sweeps and flickers of a needle pointer can often indicate a lot more than the final reading. Then I heard the XL Pro is being discontinued.

Well, this morning I bought a new XL Pro. (It is in the mail.) This evening I find a bran new "Analog Detecting Forum". I can hardly believe it. Monte, Mr. Bill, Joe Patrick, and others right there sharing there experience about analog detecting. I don't know anyone around here with an analog detector. But, now with the new forum I am not at all worried about learning this new machine alone.

Hope I don't irritate anyone while I ask one dum question after another.

Thanks all

Thanks for making me feel welcome. Sure hope this forum lasts. There seem to have been a few bumps in the road so far, but there has been some really good information too.
