...Spring;of course....There are a lot of dead animals along the road;my wife has got daffodils comin up;wont be long before we will be barking about the hot weather.I got a LOT to look forwards to this year...Easter;the Forum hunt in June,vacation the end of July;goin to my favorite place in the world then-Coopper Harbor,in the Keweenaw Peninsula;as far north and west you can go in Michigan....Brockway Mountain Drive,Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains;explore some ghost-towns,eat a pastie-Who needs the south-sea islands??:shrug:After that,I am going for another weeks vacation with my wife and dog to Presque Isle;near Alpena.Then;after that,in September after Labor Day I am going down near the big city for a week to hunt that beach club I am the only one allowed to detect....Takin my camper on my truck;and detectin for a week-2 beaches;100 acres of open ground to detect;been in use since the 1890's...The owners told me last year a woman lost a diamond ring in the water...I didnt make it down there last year;but
THIS YEAR;:thumbup::detecting::garrett::fisher::crazy:!!!!!!!!
 
start pickin up all dem animals and start puttin up jars o' roadkill stew :puke::rofl: or yins aint gonna have no eats fer lack o' time to stop.
Sounds like a wonderfull spring/sumer ya got planned.
 
We will likely see a little more "BEEP" still but it is melting very fast and I hope the frost level goes just as fast! :)
 
went south to Lansing yesterday. South of Clare the snow got less. By the time we got to just past Mt. Pleasant (going south) the snow had gotten thin. Got further south and the snow disappeared in most areas. Lots of brown vegetation along the roads and farmers fields had no snow but standing water. (Guess the ground was still frozen so the water had no where to go.)

Got to Lansing and there was no snow! And I left my detectors at home :sad:

Even though spring was in the air when we got back up this way we were glad to be back in snow country and away from the stress of the inner city. Thank God for the country of 'up north'.
