I purchased my first modern metal detector in 1999 and used it about five or six times a year. I managed to accumulate around 500 coins and a few rings. When it stopped working, I shopped around for a new detector and was extremely fortunate to be directed to Garrett, specifically, to an ACE 250. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
