I skipped work on my Birthday to do some long overdue water hunting. The weather was not in my favor as I headed up to the lake. It was 52 degrees when I left and the wind was at 20mph with a steady rain falling. What the heck, I was going to be wet anyway and the water was a warm toasty 60.
I thought of wearing waders, but it is still Summer right? I chose the Speedo and a T shirt. Try to get that image out of your heads and I will go on.... The lake was angry that day my friends. White caps were bashing into me and the wind was howling around my headphones so loud it was hard to hear the targets. After two hours of this I was shivering like a pup passin' peach pits, so I came out and warmed up. I did not go in the deep water and only went up to my chest.
The day was good. Here is the pile of loot shivered from the icy depths.

Not bad. A lot of coins and jewelry as well as some other stuff. The 4 rings were cool. One silver, one Black Hills gold, one titanium, and one stainless steel. I had never Ti or ss rings before.
Here is the SS ring. When I saw it in the scoop I thought it was a pile of quarters at first.

The titanium ring is a spinner and has a very small diamond in it. It is a wedding band.

The .925 ring is pretty with a cluster of grapes and grape leaves.

The one I like best is the Black Hills gold ring. There is just something about gold in the water scoop!

The picts are not as good as I would like but I have a shortage of time to get them right. It was a good hunt, even though "Shrinkage" was a clear and present danger.
Last week it was 104, Idaho, ya just gotta wait a few minutes for the weather you want. HH DC
