Went :detecting: that is! I didn't find the ancient treasure or jewelry...just some dirty looking clads! Was a beautiful day and Ma sure did get tired....sooo tired I could hardly get back to my car! The ground was too hard to dig and took a lot of strength just to dig the quarters! Can't believe how hard and dryer it is already after all that rain we had! Got dark and couldn't find two quarters.....can't hardly see very well in the day let alone at night.....and didn't dig a lot of coins that weren't quarters! I went after them because they add up quicker! :lol: I hope I'm not too tired to get out of bed in the morning! Found 20 quarters, 3 dimes, 1 nickel and 6 mems! I did find a pretty child's bracelet in the playground which someone had hunted out already...just a few coins were there!

I didn't wear a jacket and was perspiring up a storm! :rofl: Most work and walking I've done in quite some time except when shopping in Walmarts Super Store! Hope ya'll enjoyed the day! Nov has been warmer than Oct so far! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your blessings upon Your children! Amen! :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty

I'm really happy that you were able to get out and do some detecting today! Congrats on all those quarters and the other finds.

GREAT JOB BETTY! YOU'RE DOING BETTER THAN ME!!! The ground is getting frozen kind of deep. It's been around 20 degrees at night for the last month and the average high mid to upper 30's.

LOOK OUT STEVE!! WE'RE HEADED SOUTH ASAP AFTER SOME HEALTH PROBLEMS GET SMOOTHED OUT.

Thank you, Lisa, as it really felt good to be out in the sunshine and fresh air! Did get awfully tired and have a sore right hand from trying to dig in the rocky, dryer soil but enjoyed the hunt anyway! :) God Bless! Ma Betty

Thank you 7centsworth! I got a lot of quarters because that is what I went after when I found out how difficult it was to dig, especially with osteoarthritis in me bones! :sad: But they were there to find...I thank Jesus for that! :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty

Thank you dirtdigginlady! It felt so good to get out after so many years of not being able to go with being ill and with Cliff's illness and the care that I gave him! Thank you, Mike chgo area! I enjoy being out and no I am not so achy today as I thought I would probably be! I am sore, but not near as sore and hurting as I would be without the pain pill I am taking each night at bed time! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for helping me with the dr's help to be feeling so much better! I cannot even begin to tell you how bad I felt each morning when I got up and took until mid-afternoon most days to feel like doing anything or going out when I needed to do so! I sure can understand why Brian wants his pain pills.....they help ease the pain and that's for sure! :angel: God Bless! Betty
 
Thank you, Steve, and it was good to be out enjoying the beautiful day of sunshine and fresh air for a change! The pain pills are working and I am not hurting or as sore and achy as I thought I would probably be! I'm hoping I can get some work done in the house, now, and in the yard if it stays nice, but may have to wait until Springtime to get it ready like it should be for selling! I am slow but I'm hoping and praying I will eventually get there for the selling of my home here and moving to Cuba, MO, providing that is the Lord's will and plan for me!
