I probably won't get much hunting in this weekend it's going to be a rough one The reason I have not been able to get into the detecting this week is my youngest son will be joining his brother serving in the Army. My oldest son is 21 and on his second year in the Army he is stationed at Fort Carson Colorado. My youngest son is 19 and has 4 years of ROTC under his belt and will be leaving on Monday for basic training at Fort Benning Georgia he will graduate basic in November. My boys are my life and we have always been close it is going to be tough not to have both of them around usually detecting helps not think of stuff but it has been hard not think of them not being here Here's my boys and I am so proud of the way they have grown up to the young men they are neither one has ever been in trouble with the law or drugs or the like

Phinbolt,
Congratulations on raising 2 great young men and thank you for being willing to let them serve. I hope and pray for their safety and that they return home speedily and that you may be strengthened while they are away. Tell them thanks for serving. HH Jake

I said goodbye to my youngest son today and put him on a bus for the Army it's going to be a tough couple of weeks till we hear from him I already miss him

I know that has to be tough, but he is in good hands!!! Keep us up dated on his status, hank

God bless your sons and God bless America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have to say, Good job dad !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have true admiration for you and your Sons. That said I am scared to death. My youngest and only Boy is talking about joining the Marines. Under Bush or Reagan, I might could accept that. Under the current administration I just can not bear the thought of him possibly getting killed serving a President that I am convinced just does not respect our Troops and is not intelligent enough to make good decisions.
