Well , some days you eat the bear and some days the bear eats you. Short hunt this morning and you know it`s not your day when you get a 1961 memorial at 9 inches. LOL Found about 10 mems and one 1965 clad quarter at six inches. Just knew that was going to be silver, but as we all know, sometimes it`s just not your day ! I`ll hit em again tommorow, maybe fortune will be in a better mood. HH Randy
 
At least you didn't get skunked. Sounds like someone put a few inches of dirt down since those fairly young coins were so deep. Hope you eat the bear tomorrow. HH
 
Had the same kinda day, lots of clad. No silver. Maybe next time.
