all last week she baked for a fund-raiser for a woman co-worker that lost her husband to liver cancer earlier this year...the whole family is alcohol sponges;according to my wife-Including the man that died-apparently the Drs told him all the drinking he did for years came back to do him in...his wife was left with a lot of medical bills;and they were having a fund-raiser this last Saturday to help her out...WELL:when my wife arrived;everybody was hittin the sauce pretty hard-INCLUDING THE WIFE OF THE MAN THAT DIED;and they all made it plain they were only there for the spirits-they all brought their own,and not 1 word of thanks to my wife for all she did...she was quite hurt because of this;and she asked me WHY did they do this??I told her-speaking from experience-you see I was one of them drunken sots once-"thats all they care about;that all thats important to them"...it makes me wonder;how many good times and relationships have been destroyed by over-indulging??my wife said she is through-if all they want is alcohol;FINE-let 'em drown in it...I thank God HE saved me from that:thumbup::clapping::please:

all it does is take you down a rough road, that ends in grief and sorrow. I thank God for saving me from that life of destruction.
Phaise God for his saving grace,
God Bless

it is one of Satans greatest tools! Most likely it is all that family knows! :( Tell your wife that she did Gods will, and that is all that counts! As long as she pleases the Lord, that is a job well done! :)

I bet she planted a seed in at least one person that will germinate for awhile and then produce fruit of the Kingdom. Don't give up, You done good!

that's par for the course. And thank God He delivered me from alcoholism too.
