I finally got out to do some detecting in the past couple days...

I didn't find alot. Did find a new playground that was hidden but not impressive. Sometimes it isn't what one detects that is interesting. Sometimes it is what one accidently finds.
Here is a nice baseball I gave to the Doberman to play with and the football - well it is not what it appears.

It is a set of binoculars. Have to look through the holes on the outside to bring things closer. Never seen anything like these before.
Here's my other finds the last couple days (except one day I didn't bother to take a picture - was frustrated the ground was still pretty frozen.

The hair clip is nice. The tokens are both the same and from Frankenmuth, MI - quite some distance from Lansing.

The pic of the earring doesn't do it justice. Since it still has the backing on it I'm guessing it fell out of a woman's purse. Sherry said it would look great as a ring if we could get a band for it.
Sherry has been pretty sick the past week. Casey has been at her Dad's for a week. Amazing how one gets time alone and can't enjoy all the aspects of it.
I even had 3 days off in a row - without pay though.
So what else is there to do but try to help with housework, feed my lady and all these birds, the dogs and the cat - and myself.
I haven't been able to keep up with everyones postings but did say a 'blanket' prayer for God to meet all the needs of those here at CMD.
Did get a chance to go see my gandson over the weekend - he is getting bigger - still not saying nothing though - <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> maybe he is happy so why complain.
Well that's what's been going on over here in Lansing. Missed all of ya.

I hope you find lots of coins & goodies this year! I'll be praying for you all and healing for your wife. I prayed this morning but hadn't read the forum as yet, so God knew what you needed before I did!
God Bless & HH!
