Finding a 100 indians was not a goal this year but it happened <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> 95 of these were found in parks throughout Michigan. 5 of them came from Kentucky in the spring. I counted my silver coins this year and I'm at 97. I started detecting about 4 years ago with my XLT and had found 2 indians and around 25 silver for 3 years of hunting with the XLT. I bought an Explorer2 10 months ago and found the 100 indains and 97 silver with it. This machine is amazing! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> I don't know why it took me so long to switch <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug"> I should be able to get 3 more silver with no problem if the weather holds out. We got 8-9 inches of snow on the 24th/Nov and it melted over the last couple day with all the rains we had. The first pic is todays finds and the second pic is the 100 indians. For me this has been a great year and to some it may not seem like much but I'm a happy camper <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">

What settings are you using on the Explorer II to find all these?

The explorer is an amazing machine. This has been my best year for Indian heads and only 13 shy of my first year record for silver. Think have a couple of weeks before the ground freezes. Hope to beat all previous records.
I haven't used any other machines since I was but a sprout in the late 70s/early 80s but I look at all the other forums and certainly don't feel inclined to switch brands.
I'm sure you'll get the three silver you need for the century mark; last year(my second with the XS) I froze my tuckus off trying to beat 100 but failed, but got many more older coins than I did the first year.

Great finds. IH and Silver just seem to stay away from me. <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug">
 
I set new records myself this year especially in silver and indians and I have been doing this for 22 years. Gee I wonder if Minelab has anything to do with it.
