i forgot...lol. which is the best program to build new ones from?

the old noggin forgets a lot these daze. which program do we use to build new programs from? I vaguely remember that some of the built in programs are built from different Deus versions but can't remember which is which.. better to build from Deep or Fast or Basic... Thanks
 
Deep has 2.0 filters, Hot has 3.2 filters, the rest have 4.0 filters. Most program names are descriptive of what they're best at (Deep, Fast, Gold Field, Etc.) so which to use depends on what you want to do.
