I found a handful of coins and a DINKY

In the :usaflag: we call them Hotwheels but I just like the word DINKY that our foreign :canadaflag: :ausflag: friends on here call them. I scrounged up this mess at a couple tot lots. 31 coins for a whopping $1.81.

Actually, the tem DINK TOYS was originally from England, became a generic term for small metalic cars and trucks, and lost it's generic influence when "HOTWHEEL" hit the market.

my kids love it when i bring home dinky cars from detecting. it looks like you had a fun hunt.
 
I kinda feel let down when Ive hit a tot lot and not found one.
