I found a new home , decided not to ................

buy. The reason I decided not to buy and rent is I just can't bring myself to buying another fixer upper, a endless money pit that is none stop work that never seems to end, I just can't do it anymore after living in my 100 year old home back in Wisconsin for all those years  I'm sick of fixing this and fixing that, as I get older I'm just not up for it anymore.

Now the good news  I'll be moving into a brand new two bedroom two bath apartment, it's still being built as we speak! It's perfect for Ray and I knew it the moment I walked in and checked it out
I have never lived in a new place in all my life, it just felt right when I walked in, a simple new apartment, nothing fancy but with good water pressure, new stove, new frig, new central air and heat, new bathrooms and two of them ta boot :clapping: windows that aren't painted or nailed shut and electrical outlets that don't fall into the wall when you plug in your toaster

It's out in the country but not far from town or the Lumber Mill at all, it's in a great new safe clean area and I won't be on a busy main street any more ;) The builder who is the owner and myself hit it right off when I met him because we both have a history in the trades, good solid guy that is happy to have me rent one of his units, in fact he gave me the one I wanted, downstairs all the way at the end, the handicap unit, that's right, I'm planning for my future

When I first met him he was standing out front with his employees going over blueprints on the hood of his ford truck and the first thing he said to me when I got out of the Mighty Tundra, nice truck :yo:

I'm pretty excited about the move, plus I'll be able to get a dinette set and dresser now, I can put the Treadmill and my AB Rocket in the extra room which is good because I use them a lot plus I'll get a new bed to put in that room also for when any of you come to visit Bubba and myself here in Bama, you won't have to stay at the Holiday Inn because I won't charge you as much, hahaha

Bubba is gonna help me move, we will make short work of the move as I will supervise the move with a firm grip, hey, it's costing me lunch and a cold one might as well be the boss for a few hours

I'm hoping to get moved in before Christmas if they get the unit done because I'll be driving to AZ for the holiday but if they don't no sweat, I've waited this long, time is on my side :beers:

You need a nice motor home General.......no matter where you're at, you're always home. Plus, if you don't like the neighbors, just move
