I got another lead on a lost class ring...

I was talking to a co-worker about hunting for a class ring lost at a beach near me by a fellow church-member 60 years ago(I looked for it last year-didnt find that one,or another one a woman from the same church lost 50 years ago at the same beach)...My co-worker asked me where I looked forit, and I told him-then he said"You can add another one to look for there;'cause my wife lost hers there 30 years ago".....SO:Im going back -SOON-to look for any and all of them lost class rings...Will have to run sensitivity high;and discrimination lower;'cause that lake has a soft bottom;and I bet there is a good chance any jewelry dropped in there -in a short amount of time-will be out of range of most all detectors...I find it just amazing sometimes how far some things can sink;even in clay bottoms...That beach club I detect every year is a good example:I have dug Mercury dimes from the '20s and '30s out of the bottom of that lake that were an honest10-12 inches deep in the clay bottom--Took forever to get them out;and there are still a LOT of deep targets in there trapped in that clay.-Every year I go back;I take the time to dig out 1 or 2 of them deep targets;and I have not been disappointed in what Ive found........

she even used a stick to delineate the area where she is sure (?) that she lost it. I have combed that area at least 8 times..can't find it...I think the winds and rain and storms moved it either out or down...

Let us know if /when you find the rings.
