...ever since I posted on that other forum about the Wall of Silver Mine up in the Keweenaw;some of them folks are ready to go and look for it-My comments about not trespassing for ANY reason went right over their heads-some of 'em are already justifying breaking the law to find it.SO;I think I will just sit back,and let the "lost Dutchman of Michigan"take on a life of its own,sure to grow being fertilized by GREED.....:shrug:
 
a couple other detectorists not long ago 'justified' trespassing on federal land - National Parks area, They drove a truck with boat and trailer on the back - around a locked gate - to get into the area. They got caught. Everything they had was confiscated as evidence and items used to commit a federal crime. Lost the truck, lost the boat, all the detecting equipment and more. They are facing a federal judge and federal jail time because they 'justified' doing the wrong things...and they asked if others would help them by writing letters, donating money for their court costs, etc.

I was not born yesterday. I prayed for them. That is all I could find they deserved. I do not know if the court ever ruled on the case or what happened after the last email I got about it asking for money.
