I got out early too.

I hit three new sites. One was too wet to hunt properly. It produced most of the quarters, though. The other two were old schools which I think have been heavily hunted. I found nothing old at all and hardly any quarters. A lot of nickels and pennies, though which have been in the ground for ages. Look at the one zinc cent in pic 2. What a mess! Next to it is a nifty 925 dolphin ring and what I had hoped was a gold charm that is merely costume.

I have been trying to fill my quarter jar for two weeks now. Earlier this year I was getting 200 quarters in a week-end. Five hunts ago I needed 85 and I'm still 11 short. I think I'll go out and try again to round some up later today.

Alright!:thumbup:WTG! Great clad haul! Congrats on the silver ring!:cheers:That little heart charm is pretty cool, too! Geez, that one penny has seen better days, that's for sure! Happy Hunting!:)

Our late friend would have spent it. Maybe I will too in his honor.
