thru the Elk range center there but as I recall it was fenced off to keep them out of town. I also saw a few cars in that flick with Colorado plates so it may have been in that state. Nice animal for sure. Nice racks for sure. The 3 times I've been out there we went scouting them in the areas they hunt for them. I never
pulled a tag to hunt them. George-CT
 
Elk is lean so it gets tough if you overcook it. All those elk in town means lots of roadkill in my books, about the only way you can get elk on the dinner plate.:)
 
Looks like Estes Park Colorado. Was a road sign in the clip hwy 36. Hwy 36 comes from Boulder up to Estes.
 
Beautiful area also. For me, all the west is great. The concrete jungle back east don't do much for me. Geo-CT
