..Yesterday,I seen an ad in the Bay City Times about a place that help people 55+years train to get new jobs,if they are unemployed....SO,I called em,said Im on comp,they said thats no problem-THEN they asked about our total household income-When I gave em the figure,the woman on the other said-QUITE LOUDLY-"WELL, I CAN TELL YA RIGHT NOW YA MAKE TOO MUCH TO QUALIFY FOR US TO HELP YOU!"....I told her "YA know,I was told the SAME thing by the "NO WORKER LEFT BEHIND"people too-I guess Im wasting my time and yours,arent I?"she responded with "Not a wasted call-At least ya know where ya stand"...I will sleep SO MUCH BETTER tonite with them words in my mind.....:angry:

What is going on man I don't quite recall.
If ya want help from just about any one of them gov sponsored programs you must be destitute OR fit their typically narrow standards. Or be a politician

Discouraging I know, but keep the faith in Jesus and keep on, keepin' on giving God praise and glory for what He has done in your life by His saving grace and for supplying your needs so far! It all will work out for your good by being patient in everything until things get better for you with a good job and income besides your wife's! With no debt to show, you are showing others that you can get by without their assistance although you have paid in taxes, also! Not fair....but the world is not fair nor just, including our Government system!
I have the same problems because I am living off my IRAs to pay my bills and credit card debts and will have to pay taxes on the money withdrawn because I needed the money and didn't have any money for taxes taken out, so I will probably have to pay a penalty! Because I choose to help myself and not the govt's it puts me in a diffiult position in trying to keep my head above water but I Praise God for having the monies to lean on and pay my debts and taxes! I don't know as yet, how much I owe until I do my Income Taxes and show my SS Income along with my IRA income! This will even cause more money to be drawn out to pay what I probably owe to the Federal and State! I am unable to work, so no help there, but I have God and He blesses me and has helped me meet my needs so far! Thank You, Jesus, for Your mercy, grace and all-forgiving love upon me, who is now a Child of God! Amen!
