some great folks from the forums this past weekend  and said hello to a few that I haven't seen in a couple of years :super: . This was a fun group of people to hang out with and we all had a blast just getting to know each other and eating some great food  and even did a litttle detecting :detecting:

Did I mention we had some great food :lmfao:, Keith's wife made us a large batch of cookies, two different kinds, they were so good I eat two at a time so I could get more then every body else , thanks Mary!

Then Dale from Iowa bought this yummy desert that his wife made that I knew would go fast so when no body was looking I took three pieces and hid them under my bed for later , thanks Dale and tell your wife it was perfect

Kurts wife Patty made a mean batch of spicy meat balls that were awesome, myself and the Iowa fellas, Chris, Dale and Bradley did a number on those babies but man did I pay for it the next morning at my first pit stop, hahaha, I was on fire :stretcher: thanks Patty, they were awesome!

And what can I say about my old buddy Elson and his jambalaya, I'll tell ya folks, that cajun can cook, that jambalaya was so good I said the hell with the plate, I'll eat it right outa the pot and I did, every time Elson caught me tho he would put me in a head lock and woop me good  Thank you Elson, it don't get any better then your jambalaya

It was great folks, we had a blast, it was a perfect weekend and thanks for all that showed up, here are some photos to start out with, I will post more photos in different post so the dial up folks don't have to wait for ever for the post to load, see, I'm always thinking about the next guy :smoke:

Thanks Golddigger for setting up the planted hunt and bringing all the coins and gold nuggets, that was a class thing to do bud, you put a lot of smiles on a lot of peoples faces, thanks Jim!

Here's a shot of Patty digging her first target, Patty and her husband Kurt are new to metal detecting so I thought I would help out the newbies, I told Patty that signal sounds like a silver dollar, better dig it Patty, oops, I was wrong

Pattys next signal was a silver quarter and she did real well the rest of the hunt with lots of silver
