Jamie called me last week and wanted to go diggin this week. So we met Friday morning and headed to an old burned down 1800's farm house. Well it was very over grown, but we gave it our best!
Here is Jamie and yes he is standing up!

My first keeper of the day! A silver plated spoon! The first coin was a 1950 Canadian penny.

I also got two wheat pennies, before we left to go to lunch.
 
We were close to where my wife and kids are at the Christian camp, so we went and joined them for lunch. Well right before we pulled into camp, I spotted this! :)
Another burned down farm house! With short grass!

I figured it was on camp property, so I asked the director and sure enough we got the go ahead and have fun! He also said it was from the 1800's! :)
After about 10 minutes I nabbed a 1918S merc! then a 1917 wheat right next to it! Then came an 1892 "V" nickel! SWEET!!!!! Jamie was picking up several wheats in one area, but later got a 1901) Barber dime! Can it get any better?
It sure can! Jamie asked do you have any indians yet? I said not yet but they are here! Shortly after that I got this!

Here it is after pulling it from it's long resting place. 1889 IH.

Later I got a crotal bell, and several doo-dads, and some more wheats.
Jamie also picked up a silver 48 rosie.
Here is a neat pic of a wheat I got from the hard clay ground.

And here are my coins. 1889 IH, 1892 V, 1818S merc, 7 wheats - 57, 56D, 36, 12, 17, 57D, and a 52 , and a 1950 Canadian penny.

Sure felt good to be digging old coins again! :)

I had an invite the day before from a fellow club member to hunt some street construction. There I picked up a green marble, a good luck token, a civil war button, an 1863 IH (fatty) an 1880 IH, and a 1937 merc. Here is the pic of the 37 merc with the coins from yesterday. The 1863, and 1880 are soaking!

Two good days with two good friends, and some great finds!
