I Had My Most Productive Coin Shooting Day Yesterday Using The VX9

Hit one school yard and stayed put all afternoon on Saturday. All the coins were in the top 1", which made it real easy to pop them out using my pin-pointer and screwdriver. It's so sad to see my coinage literally rot from rust as the nickel plating over steel starts to wear off. I heard Trump mention a while back that he was looking at changing the composition of US coinage to save money. I sure hope he doesn't follow our example for your sakes. At the end of the day, they will be tumbled with media to remove as much rust as possible, rolled and traded in for bills at the bank.:bouncy:

Here's the flour gold I got earlier in the week. The wedgy is my highbanker in which I shovel all my gravel and it separates the rocks from the black sands. The black sand I process at home to remove the gold.

Here's what my highbanker looks like. It needs a water supply to operate. I use a 2000 GPH bilge pump to run the water powered by a 60 amp lithium ion battery.

That's a nice haul (y) amazing all the coins in the top 1" I would hazard a guess the area has not been detected previously.
A lot of our local schools are fenced
Shoveling all the gravel and digging that many coins - oh my aching back! At least the newer lithium LiFePO4 batteries can lightening up the load after the day is done.

I hit this particular school every 2 years. It takes about two years for the coin crops to increase to make a decent hunt. I have a couple of other schools where I use the same plan of attack.

Roll them and pass the batch to a bank. Just in case at some point in time they refuse them.

Hi John, Great finds, wish I was there to get some of that loot.
I have a question for you. I remember years ago, you mentioned about a place you can the most for your gold silver. I live in the north Houston area and the best I can do is at 60% market melt value . I have over $20,000.00 of melt value with today’s current price of gold, not to mention silver, I’m looking to get the best deal I can get.
Thanx
Stan.
