I had to say good bye today

I know first hand the pain of losing your best friend. Only time makes it less painful but the pain never quite goes away. Your only solace is to know he is no long hurting and hopefully feeling much better now.

A man's dog is something special. I still miss my Bruiser. We'll get to be with them again.

Here's my Petey. Lost him last summer a day after his 15th birthday. I think of him evry day but boy what happy memories. Sorry for your loss.
Like his master he knows how to hold on to that treasure.

I have been there a few times. But I did find a site to help get my feelings out and every now and then I revisit to say hi to my ole friends.
This is a great site to help pet owners with their losses. Very to sorry to hear you had to say goodbye.
 
We had to put Sammy away, he went so fast, it was a terrible shock.
I thought my wife would grieve to death. She sat out by the flower garden where I laid him. I didn't dare go out to try to comfort her. She had to wade through the loss her own way.
To this day, she still can't talk about that faithful little guy.
My sincere sympathy at your loss. He looks like a real champ.
Think of the good times Max. God bless.
 
I can remember doing the same thing. Still puts the lump in the throat and tears in the eyes. Keep the good memories!

Been there a few months ago myself Max...sad to say but I have family members that wouldn't hurt me as much if they passed,but I guess Brandy was a family member. I got another one (Tia) a few months ago and it does help,but I still miss her. I feel your pain for sure. <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry"> -Harry
 
I went through that sadness 3 years ago and still miss my BUDDY.
