I have never posted recovered spoons from the beach, but this one is so pretty and shined so well, that I would like to share pics with you

From my research, I can conclude that this spoon is silver -plated

I found it this week in the low tide mud , thickly tarnished; apologies ...I did not take a "before" pic for comparison

It is so pretty and cleaned and shined so easily, that I decided to keep it and add it to my "motley crew" in the kitchen utensils drawer

When I set the table , among the place settings are about 5 different patterns of tableware that I have recovered during detecting. The place settings are not "classy " in the least, but definitely provide stimulating conversation at the dinner table
