I just had a sand scoop affine!!!

Hi,

I just had the ultimate idea for a homemade sand scoop!!!!
All you do is take an old pitcher (for water or lemonade) and drill holes in it.
I didn't show a picture because i haven't made one yet,
and my mom wont let me drill holes in one of her pitchers (I'm 15 by the way)
it awesome!
 
Thats a good idea, Just make sure that the size of your pitcher conforms to local regulations..

But what do you mean about "the local regulations"?
Dose it mater how big my scoop is?

I might just buy a pitcher at good will for like two bucks (and I'm looking for a ether a 1/4 or a 1/2gall .)
 
Here in Iowa the Diameter of a sand scoop or sieve is limited to 10".

You should be able to find out on your home states fish and game or department of natural resources web site.

You could also check at your local library or courthouse.
 
Dalton those were very good good questions and ideas. I didn't know there were such regulations on that stuff either. You do have to understand Bryan is from IOWA and what happens Iowa well Yah! Sorry Bryan I have to pick on the Iowa people my wifes relatives live in Iowa. We are from WI. Go Badgers!:beers:

Ha ha Mat, we all can't be Idiots Out Wandering Around.:shrug: I didn't know that such rules existed either until a friends father(he just retired from the iowa DNR) said something. I'm glad that he did though, some of the regs can be a little tricky(wording).
 
Dalton: I like to keep my costs down, too, and made my own using a 52 ounce coffee can.
BTW is "epiphany", I use Meriam-Webster Online dictionary.

well since everyone is showing tools and all, i would ask then if a drummel would be a good tool to use on some of the things you can find in this sport
 
thank "bendorfold" they had twenty different ways to spell it on google and the spell check on this website so i had to pick one.
