It had never been put together and its beautiful. I put batteries in it and I can't believe how powerful this unit is. Its so nice I don't want to hunt with it. It air tests better than several of my much more expensive detectors and the tones are probably the best I've heard on any detector. Every feature on this machine works as advertised. I don't know whether to use it or build a nice display case for it. I can say one thing for certain, this machine would easily keep up with most of the higher priced units of today.

I'd say it's way past time to get that thing all dirty. It's too legendary of a machine to be a closet queen, it has a destiny which you must help it to fulfill! Swang that thang!
