[size=large]I'm usually hesitant to update what is already a great program (4.0) but finally did it this morning.
Went smoothly.
Not sure why the coils have to be on charge while updating them unless some do not have enough power in their battery in the coil to begin with?
I also installed Gary's Ultimate program at my #11 slot. Interesting to see how that works.

I also have some programs to install from CTTODD. His programs are my usual go-to programs.

Hey Tony
Curious what coils you use, I have been using one of calabash's programs on my 9" and 11" LF coils with the newest update seem's
to be a winner to me in my part of the wood's.
I'm also about to get me the x35 11" coil as i hunt alot of open ground parks and schools.
Love the Deus full tones, pitch, and it's so light i can swing it all day.

Also I would suggest you try program #9 Hot it is worth a try, the XY screen is fun to use and gives good information.

Hi s2k,
I also only have the 9" and 11" round LF coils. Why would you get an X35 11" coil since it operates at 3.7 kHz to 27.7 kHz. which is the same freq. as the 11" LF coil?

Far as i no the LF coils dont go to 27.7 khz, From what im reading and hearing it's good coil to have
as i do alott of coin hunting. Why i chose not to get the HF coil.

Correct . . . the original LF coils only have 4, 8, 12 and 18 kHz. The X35 adds one which is the 25.5kHz +/- based on the frequency offset used.

Nothing wrong with the LF coils . . . still have them on 2 of my Deus's and will be taking them on the trip we are going on to Scotland in September

Fast and hot are good starter platforms for you to tweak with , personally I find them too ‘safe’ if left as they are .

The horseshoe and the xy screen both have good info, I’d like to see an update where both are somehow combined
