So REVIER, do you think it's gonna be as good as your Vaquero? I already know that answer! Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still love my Vaq, all of my detectors, actually, but not enough time to use them all as much as I like so I will pick and choose.
The last time I pulled out my Vaq I found my oldest coin ever, an 1865 2 cent, so the hits just keep on coming when I use it and I am never disappointed.
I got a new sniper coil for the Vaq last fall and it is an amazing thing, nowhere near the hours on it that I would like, but I am a techy guy and all the settings and possibilities on the F70 is more fun to play with than I can even express.
Also, I love the screen units too, and when I see a good target at 10-11-12-13 and 14" in depth on my screen it adds a bit of excitement to the hunt even before I dig it, for sure.
Both these things are deep, both fun, both productive but for now the F70 gets the nod because I have so much learning to do and that is also a very important and fun part of the hobby for me.
I was aiming for the F75 but the deal on this F70 was so good I couldn't pass it up.
After reading the manual on the F75, and noticing it has all the F70 features and more, nothing I can't live without but some cool stuff like tone adjustments and who knows what else, I think it is good I went with the F70 for now.
I got major depth, accurate ID's and everything I really need with the F70, at this time I don't see a need to ever upgrade to anything else unless it would be just for the shear fun of it, but I am already overloading with the massive amount of settings possible and playing with them and seeing what they can do.
I believe as anal as I am about learning to understand everything I possibly can about what I swing I think the F75 would have probably blown my mind at this point trying to learn everything about it.
Better to learn the F70 and if I feel like it move into the F75 one day to continue the learning process...if ever should actually happen.
I wish I was just the kind of guy that can find some settings I like instantly, turn it on and go, but that is just not my lot in life.
