I'd just like to know how old you guys think it is. Does the uniform look U.S. to you? <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug"> I guess it's the hat that's throwing me. This is one of two lead soldiers found near that printing plate. Thanks for any help.
 
I have a friend that has a small collection of cast lead toys, molds, etc. He had several that were nonmilitery, like marching bands and circus performers. This one looks like it could be a circus clown??? Just doesn't look like a soldier to me!
