I like the New kind of rechargeable batteries I am using

I seem to get around 6 hours with the Booster turned on all the time---The higher voltage seems to make the V-3 more stable---I am starting out with 14.45v and quiting at around 10v---I am not finding anything but clad but I am having Fun---There is still more to learn about the V-3 but at least I am able to find Coins and it runs smooth---I am not using the stock coil but I sure like the 5.3 and the Prototype Shooter Coil that I have had for years;--- I Have have had the shooter coil since the DFX came out---When was that!

.... if you get a coil made for the V3, it will have a V on the product number on the coil attachment ears and you'll find the V marked coils work better on the V3 than your stock coils for the DFX. The V3 coils will work well downwards in product, but the non V coils won't work as well on the V3.

give you many more uses for the same money And you can run your Detector at higher voltage if you want to---All you have to do is charge them when they get down to say 10v---I have been using chargeable before Whites ever started using them---I remember when they looked at what I was using and then saying they would Never use chargeable---With in a 1 1/2 years they were sending them out with there detectors---I think you should get 2 sets and you will find out how good they are now---The ones I use are made out of Zinc which allows them to get the voltage of Alkaline batteries and you don't have to buy any batteries for 2-4 years Or More---D.W.
