Where do I get one of these coils in the uk and what's ut called?

Thanks
Should be available through any MineLab dealer. It is the only LF (low frequency) coil offered for an X-Terra, and only made by MineLab.

Loss of stability. Loss of depth. Usually when GB numbers are too low.
I've run into areas where GB was as low as 3 with the 3kHz, and it didn't do well. Switched to a 10.5" DD and got GB numbers in the upper 20's, so it was a better choice for that site. Then I just needed to pay better attention to the nuances of the higher tones due to the narrower high value bin widths with the HF coil.

Typically, I like GB numbers to be 20's or better. Usually in that range, I can run the SENS @ 24+. When GB drops into the teens (or worse), I generally have to back the SENS into the teens to maintain stability, at which point I figure I'm losing depth.

Someone else may have had a different experience, but this is what I've found.
