yeah i like the spoon bowl.wish it was whole.the place dates back to 1850 but i’ve found 1700s coins there.I’ve found brick pieces in some holes so there was something there earlier.
Yeah that spoon bowl looks pewter to me, & looks to me early 1800 date. I think they got a fancy name with that design/casting on the bottom of the spoon bowl.

I agree. This method has provided me many more finds after hunting an area for a while.
