Had another great trip to the Eastern Sierra Mountians. Did some hiking up in the high country and a lot of fishing. I did keep my 5 fish limit per day and released about 25-50 fish per day. No big fish this trip but just a lot of fish. One thing I did that really made me feel good. I was fishing next to a little dock and this little boy was sitting there trying to catch a trout. Mom, Dad and the kids brother seemed to not want to help the boy. Well, I just could not stand that. It was bothering me that they did not want to help this kid. So, I put my gear down and walked over and asked if he had ever caught a fish. And he said no. I told him to let me see his fishing rod. I cut the hook off and tied on what he needed to catch a fish. Mom, Dad and brother are sitting behind me watching. The little kid did what I told him to do while fishing. And my luck was with me that day. The kid caught his first ever fish in his life. Not only did he catch a fish, he caught a limit of fish(5). He had enough fish for the whole family to have for dinner that day. Mom walked up and said Thank You Mr. for helping my son catch his first fish. That was the highlight of my trip. Just made me feel good. We had a little snow, a little rain and some sun shine while there. Another great trip to the mountians. Here is a few picts of the area I like to go to so much. Hope you all enjoy the picts. God Bless Joe

Beautiful pictures, and nice teaching the boy how to fish.

Thanks for the pics and the blessing of hearing how God used you to help this child.

Nice pics of beautiful scenery in the high country.....I always like the mountains, lakes, trees and streams out West. Thanks for helping that little boy catch fish....he will never forget the kindness you showed him and he may even come to Jesus when older because of you! God Bless! Betty
