After reading everything I could on the XP Deus I finally made the investment into the hobby I love. Thank you Bart ,Big Boys Hobbies, for answering all of my questions and the great price. Within 48 hours the detector was at my door. I will hopefully be posting pictures soon, as soon as the ground thaws. Until then, reading on the Deus and research, research, research.

The Deus may be the most versatile detector as you say. Having it and a CTX I can say it is not always the best at all things a detector is expected to do.

Kind of like a large Swiss army knife being the most versatle knife but not one I chose at dinner time.
 
WTG with getting a new Deus!

You'll be very pleased especially if you're a relic hunter, Darn best machine I've ever used for relic hunting.
