From now on when the weatherman says the weekend is 100% a washout I am going to plan on a lot of detecting. It did rain all day Friday. Saturday was cloudy and muggy but no rain so I hunted a school very close to home for an hour. It never rained. Today is the same so off to a different nearby school for just about 1.5 hours. Still no rain. Pictured is today's swag. 9917 total coins for calendar 2008.

Please help me identify the pendant. It looks like a bow and arrow to me. It is marked 2004 and World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE on the back. I looked on Ebay and on the WWE site and did not see a match. Who or what does this pendant represent?

Chris

Which begs the question. Who the heck is Batista? Just kidding. I did some reading. I like the look of the pendant. Into my brag book it goes.

Chris

I am reluctant to admit I used to like wresting back in the day. I had a great connection to behind the scenes access and I was involved in a charity that arranged hospital visits to seriously ill children from then WWF Wrestlers. I once brought the Bushwahackers into a childrens hospital to see this frail little 10 year old boy who looked like a toothpick. The Bushwhackers picked him up and tossed him around and did their rubbing their noses on his face thing. I was sure they were going to snap him in two but this kid was so happy with the visit and his Mom was crying because her boy was laughing and carrying on so. These two guys also tossed me around a few times and I was not nearly as happy. I met most of the late 80s early 90s big stars. My favorites were Macho Man, Sean Michaels, The Bushwhackers, and Owen Hart (RIP). I generally found the "bad guys" to be a lot more interesting but most were all pretty good guys and nothing like their TV personalities. I actually got to ask Ric Flair about Andy Kaufmann but he didn't answer truthfully.

I know, Steve.....this is a Metal Detecting forum.......

I used to be a fan to but mine was Stone Cold Steve Austin? We had the same neck Surgery at the same time ,just not the same state.

Try Matt Hardy for the pendant

Wreslin fans...... ......you guys are way to hillbilly.... .... and remember, wreslin IS fake......just ask Andy K....

Back in the days when I watched it it wasn't fake. Guys got their arms and legs broken and faces smashed in.. One guy got slammed clear through the ring floor. Watched old Killer kowalski lay a guy's leg up over the bottom rope then stomp on his knee cap, snapping his leg in two. WAtched another guy get his ear ripped off. My best friend got into wrestling many years ago ( after it all turned fake ) and he had to go to acting classes to learn all the fake stuff.

Uncle Willy Killer Kowalski,The Crusher,The Bruiser,Mad Dog Vachon.I remember those days.Bill

My daughter is a big fan of wrestling and I shown your picture to her and asked "what is it? " She said that's for " Batista". She met him once at an autographing session at the local mall, she said he's very arrogant and nasty.. HH Don

Yeah those were the days of real wrestlers. Killer Kowalski runs a wrestling school here in Salem, Oregon if he hasn't retired or kicked the bucket.

Bill

It's yours for half that! I'll find a suitable chain.
