I found this at an old park on Wednesday and can't find any info on what this is. It looks like a coin or token but it has what seems to be a little soldered place where something used to be attached to the back. I know it's not an official U.S. coin. It's about the size of a half dime and seems to be copper. Anyone ever find one like this?
Thanks,
Neal

Could it have been a cufflink? Button stud?

But mine has the 1863 date etc. and is destroyed. Not sure what you have there Neal. It must be a token, although I think they were outlawed by 1890. That tiny size is unusual too. You got a real head scratcher there! It would be nice to find a pic showing what is missing on the back. Hey, was there a worlds fair on that date? Could have been a memento of the fair.

Take care and HH - BF
