I need some advise on the Gold Scan Detector created by Eric Foster!!!:help:

There is a Gold Scan Detector for sale and I already own a TDI, Infinium and Whites Dual Feed detectors. Is the Gold Scan that is six years old better Tech than the other detectors I already own? I know Eric makes great detectors. I relic hunt in Red Hot Soil and Beach hunt on beaches with Black sand. Please advise. Thanks

Hi Jim,

The short answer to your question is no if it not the latest Goldscan 5C. The older Goldscans are not better than what you have. The Goldscan 5C is the latest being made and it is superior in many ways to the older Goldscans, especially the older GS 4 or previous models. Your TDI is patterned after the Goldscan 5C.

I suspect the one you noticed for sale is the older Goldscan 4, which was made several years ago.
