I now it is Winter..but have you noticed detectors are not selling for the price asked.

Might be time to hang em up, and wait for better times. Besides it never hurts having a backup detector or two.
 
uncertain times people are holding on to their wallets. The economy not likely to improve much. I do believe their will be good deals out there. HH

I'm seeing a lot of XS Explorers on Ebay for sale.A old XS in good condition seems to have a good resale value.Just saw a 1236X go for 217.00 which is a great price.Another good deal a newer CZ5 for around 370.00.The new detectors on Ebay aren't selling well.One detector last season I thought was a best buy used Sovereign's and accessories,which now are in low supply and selling for top dollar.I think a lot of people are worried about money and a metal detector isn't at the top of their list.Unfortunately I think we are going to see some very good deals this year because of the economy.I hope the manufactures dealers weather the slow down of consumer spending.
