I run TTF = nickels, run modifi coin, = no nickels

I run TTF = nickels, run modifi coin, = no nickels. Auctually very very few nickels.

I just don't get the nickel hits when I run the modified coin and no I don't have nickels blocked out in my modified coin program.

Does anyone have a link to some info on this?

your screen is way more open I am guessing in TTF? Nickels bounce a lot for me and in TTF getting nickels is way easier for me as well

Good Morning Joe,

I have my E-Trac running and getting a pretty good understanding of how it works. Have use primarily the factory default with a little change in the sensitivity and threshold. Very excited with the results in a old worked out park that is now producing coins again. Can you tell me where I can get the TTF program. I see many references to it and can't seem to find the actual program.

Thank you,
ddcarr

Hi Jeff & Joe,

Those sites are just what I was looking for. I now have a good enough understanding of how the E-Trac works that I can see why the program works in the iron infested places. I now have a few school houses I can go back to and hit again. They have been worked over for years and I know that most everyone has missed a few targets because of all the trash. I now have enough programs to work just about any of the worked out places that I started on 30 years ago. The sad thing is that I don't have another 30 years to metal detect. The good thing is that the E-Trac has given me a new reason to keep going.

Thanks to both of you and I will be reporting back on my success,

ddcarr

You are very Welcome!

My best advice, put a 6" EQ2 or an X-5 on the end of that Etrac and go very very slow using TTF. It won't take long till you will be smiling at the screen of your Etrac.

Went back over a empty lot using ttf I recently had some luck in. Found 9 more coins, only clad but still 3 to 5 in deep,
2 of them were nickels and 1 of them was only about 3 in deep.In my first 2 hunts of the area I had not found any nickels(using a mod coin program). Also founda ring in ttf.
