General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Sold a Minelab hat to McDave who promptly paid for it through Paypal. I shipped it out on Dec. 8th via USPS 1st Class Mail and as of Dec. 15th it had still not arrived to Dave.

Go figure the 1 time I don't add a tracking number to a package it gets lost in the system :rage:

Oh well, Dave is an understanding person and I refunded his money. I won the hat in a contest, so the most I'm out is the shipping, which isn't no big deal.

Thanks again Dave and hopefully it will arrive next year :rofl:
 
Steve ... Thanks ! I will keep an eye out for it. And if I see anyone else in our little town of 600 wearing a Minelab hat I think the mystery will be solved ! :laugh: Merry Christmas !!
 
This time of the year,,USPS sucks,,,big time....
I bought a detector from a dealer in MS and he shipped by Parcel Post,
and it took almost 30 days for me to get the detector....Dec. is not a good time to ship.

Yeah...this time of the year, all the mail companies suck. The FedEx man made 2 points with that flat screen TV up and over the fence and the UPS man not only let the big package fall "loud" on that porch but flipped the middle finger at the camera. Both of these were on Yahoo. I don't mail FedEx ($$$$$) and usually not through UPS unless I have no choice...too many things arrive broken. I usually just hear the loud thump of the package on my porch.

Seen the Fedex video, but didn't know about the UPS one

I'm sure someone other than McDave is wearing a Minelab hat.

If you recall, I sold a Minelab hat to McDave back in early December and shipped it out on Dec. 8th via 1st Class Mail. He contacted me about a week and a half after and said that he had not received it. We both agreed that with the holiday mailing rush in full swing that if it did not show by the end of that week I would refund his money. The mail arrived but no hat so the refund was made and I mentioned to him that if the hat were to arrive at a later date to contact me and make payment for it then.

Fast forward, Dave got the hat on Dec. 24th and I found a payment made to my Paypal account.

Dave could have easily said that the hat never arrived and not made any payment for it, but he didn't do that.

He is very honest and trust worthy and I would deal with him anytime.

Thank you Dave for your honesty :thumbup:
