I set my cz3d up on an Anderson shaft

I had an Anderson shaft for a deus 2 that I wasn’t using since I sold the machine with the original shaft. The lower Tesoro stems fit on the shaft and those fit into the Cz coils. I found a Cz3d mount on eBay, and drilled holes into the shaft to make it fit under the arm cuff, then I got a stand for the shaft so the Cz3d doesn’t touch the ground. Now I threw the sun ray probe on there too. Looks pretty slick if you ask me.

Should be balanced well and easy to swing.
I set up one of my CZ's like that a long time ago. I went back to the standard shaft set up because of how I run it. I run it mostly in autotune (all metal) and when over a target flip it to disk 0 to listen to the tones, then back to autotune. It is very quick and easy to flip it between the two settings on the standard set up; not easy on the straight shaft with the detector mounted behind the forearm. I chose the less balanced original set up over well balanced for that easy flip of the discrimination knob.
The knobs that come with the CZ3d have short pointers to show where it is set. The older knobs had longer pointers that are easily flipped. Many years ago, I bought some extra knobs with the longer pointer should I need one.

Note the difference in the knob pointers in the pictures; one is easy to flip with a thumb, one needs to be grabbed and twisted:
