If that is their answer the ace series, it isn't a very good one. Four target zones? That would be pretty hard to use in a trashy park. I certainly wouldn't trade my ace for any of those.
 
Entry level -- aimed at kids / beginners.

Now they need to see about refining the X-Terra detectors or come out with a new mid range detector, I'd like to see the X-Terra's have wireless and also become waterproof to 10 feet like the CTX is, this would make them a great mid range unit.
