Such as my Dad passing away 3 years ago on Thanksgiving Day. And a Christian family...our friends for from Lansing had a Mother pass away (was the husband's Mom) yesteday on Thanksgiving Day. And today also heard this news---a prayer request from our Pastor...

Kendra ( 8 ), Makayla ( 12 ), & Troy ( 10 ) attended our church on Wed. nights & went to Alpena camp a few years ago. They moved out of the area about 2 years ago. Yesterday, Kendra & Makayla were killed in a car accident & Troy is not expected to live much longer. They were on their way to Thanksgiving dinner at Trish's (the mother of the 3) mom's house. Please keep their family in prayer.

I know people die everyday...just harder to handle when they happen on a day when people should be giving thanks.

May God bless and comfort them all.

At least I know all but maybe one...my Dad...was saved before they passed away.

& the Lord takes - blessed be the name of the Lord.

My dad passed on about 30 years ago - he was a Christian also. Steve in so az

Very sad situations when death's occur, especially children....which makes it doubly hard on those left behind! My heartfelt prayers go out to their loved ones and friends! May God bless them each with His comforting love and with His peace that seems impossible during times like these, but as AZ Steve says, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord! Amen! God Bless! Betty (Prayers for you and family, too, Bro Pete!) Thanksgiving and Christmas are hard to get through when we have lost loved ones any time, but especially during the holiday season! Love ya all in Christ! Sister Betty
