I Think I Found The Mother Load

Every once in a while, we find a park that consistently produces and I think I've found such a place. It has produced well over ten dollars in coins in three visits. Each visit was about an hour and a half and averaged better than three dollars per visit. No silver today and my oldest coin was a '66 Lincoln cent. I dug 33 targets and brought home $3.60 in all plus a 'Wearfirst' metal jeans jacket button. Hope you all had a good morning too.

Oddly enough there wasn't any rings found at all, in the entire park! I thought that was rather odd in itself. I hunted with minimal discrimination and check many of the targets, in All Metal, but didn't find a single ring. I dug maybe 100+ targets, including all 'solid' 30's, because sterling silver rings fall in that numerical range. I dug anything that came in close to nickle hoping to find gold rings but no such luck. I did find several nickles but no gold. The gold colored quarter came in @ 42, which is what most quarters come in at (newer quarters come in @ 39 on my X-terra 505). None the less it was a good hunt and I enjoyed the time out-of-doors.

That`s great...maybe some rings will show up later..good luck.

I have had a few that had tons of coins and then some that did not have any. Congratulations.
