I went to the mail box and found out today, after my neighbor called and called....trying to get hold of me to find out if I was okay...(I was sleeping) and when I woke up from the tel ringing, it stopped and after my bathroom duty, it rang again and she finally told me that I had left my garage door open all night and that Bill, her husband, after Mass this morning, and her were really concerned about me.....when I went to check the garage...he had closed the door...I think maybe someone stole my brother's old metal stand with his table saw on top of it, as it is missing...but could have been stolen earlier because with all that is in my garage, I hadn't missed it! If someone did take it last night, they were neat about putting things back that were surrounding it! Oh well, I hope someone gets some good use out of it and truly needed it! But the worst part is I found my door going into the garage cracked ajar and anyone could have come in while I was sleeping and stolen no telling what from inside my home, but after checking I haven't found anything missing, but might later and, yet, I don't think anyone came inside...but is a scary thought, had they done so!!! I don't sleep well at night and usually do my sleeping in the early mornings and even into the afternoons, depending on how much lack of sleep I've been having,,,,,I am now in my infancy again with my days and nights mixed up! Oh, how I give God praise and Thank Jesus, for watching over me, for in these days and times anything could have happened but being a Child of God, I was kept safe...because I didn't intentionally leave either door open &/or unlocked! My forgetfulness is getting to where it scares me, but I hope I don't have to have someone with me all the time, as yet!!!

Thanks to each of you for your prayers and I believe that is why I was kept safe during the time everything was open to harm while I was sleeping! May God Bless and keep you all safe and heal you or keep you in good health! The years fly by and we all get older and need taken care of but some sooner than others depending on many things that have happened in our lives! Love you all in Jesus' name! Amen! Ma Betty

i have left my garage door open overnight many times(im 46)! a girl i work with recently left her car door wide open at work and i had to tell her to go close it.(shes in her 20s) not necessarily an age thing!!!!!!!!
i recently went to work and realized i for got to put any pants on........oh wait, that was a dream

In All Honesty, If you feel you need to start getting constant help then flat out do it.!!!!! It is pefectly ok to do so. Christ will let you. Ma, If I hear you got hurt somehow because you didn't have help. I'd be sick and "VERY" angry. !!!!!!!! You know Ma that We all here care for you and I think that everyone here would be sick over it. If you can't think of yourself then think of us. I shared God's Command to each of us wiith you in NIV : Romans 8 : 12 - 22. YOU are NOT exempt Ma. God has and is Commanding you to do something yet your not doing it. How do you think God is feeling or would feel if you got hurt huh ??? If I sound harsh then if it works AMEN. !!!! Now it is time for you to take care of yourself after a blessed life of giving to others. Yes Christ DOES provide rest for the weary. Including you. !!!!!!!! Hi Steve, I am not able to do that, because I use my garage to go through to get to the mailbox, because my front stoop has a high step and I have a difficult time getting up and down, especially, with mail in my hands, so it is easier to get in and out by using the two steps and pulling myself up into the house by the door frame....I have always shut the garage door before entering the door into my Famly Room and made sure the door was locked inside afterwards, but for some reason, I was either too tired to think or wasn't thinking period and forgot to do what I have always done! I am glad I have good neighbors who are concerned when things like that do happen! I've called neighbors myself when I've seen their garage doors open after dark, but with the trees blocking the way now, I can't see up and down the street like I used to do! I am putting a sticky note on the edge of my Computer and one in the bedroom &/or bathroom to remind me to close doors and lock up for the night, as these are the last places I am at before getting into bed, so Barker and everyone don't worry....if I get too confused and forgetful, I will seek help, but right now most of this latest is because I haven't been taking my anit-depressants for about two months or more and I need them to think and get things done! I will be seeing my dr again in a few days and then, hopefully, get the meds I need unless the weather gets too bad, again! I don't intend to give up yet...because I cannot afford a living-care center nor a nursing home! Thank you for caring about me, but Ma will be okay....Well until something happens again anyway! Thanks Mike (chgo area), Me Too!!! I live in a nice and quiet neighborhood and have been here since 1974...most of us are getting up in years, though, with a few younger families moving into the homes as they become empty and sell! They were in the higher bracket but are cheaper now because of the downturn in the economy which is good for buyers but not for sellers! Thank you Jadesun, for your kind words and my neighbor Glenn called me this afternoon and said his mother had passed away Sat and will be buried Thurs, so please pray for comfort and peace for him and his sister that they will have good weather for the funeral amd burying her body! He, always asks if there is anything he can do for me and if I need something to be sure and call him and let him know....I haven't as yet, though, for I don't like to bother him as he works driving a city bus and works different hours! It is wonderful you have neighbors who watch out for you and care enough to check up on you. You are right we are all getting older. Wish we started out old and got younger,,,that way we would be wiser with years of experience and by the time we are teens we would know it all
and be young enough to still be active and not feeling the pains or arthritis.

Heavenly Father, I ask you to send a few angels to watch over Betty and to keep her safe from harm and to help her remember things she needs to remember. I know angels are sent to minister to the saints and Betty could use some angelic ministering to keep her safe and to help her. Thank you Father. Thank you Jesus and Holy Spirit. Sometimes you can get meds refilled by calling the dr office and asking to have the prescription sent to the pharmacy...you would be able to get the meds you need and still keep the appointment (weather permitting). Just a thought. You might ask worse they can say is he has to see you in person.....if you tell them you have been out of meds for awhile and are having difficulties in having a normal life they should help you out with a new prescription.

Thanks Pete, but I do have new prescrips from the last dr's visit...but I haven't gone to get them filled and I also have refills that I could have called in to be picked up, but I didn't get out because of being very ill for awhile and then the bad weather set in! Whenever I run out of refills, the pharmacy does call and they are refilled per dr's okay....I don't think my dr calls in new prescrips any more because of there being so many patients, but the pharmacy can call the office staff and go from there! It isn't their fault that I don't have my meds, it is my fault for not going and picking them up or having someone do it for me! I was breaking out with a terrible rash which made me so miserable is one reason why I went off of a few of them and it has helped, as the itching isn't nearly as bad as it was...I am so sensitive to so many meds and things that it makes it difficult to take meds and therefore are changed to another kind more often than should be necessary! I go to see dr tomorrow and, hopefully, with the weather not getting bad yet, I can go to dr, go and get my meds, do some food shopping and get to the post office before my dr's visit which is late in the day for they squeezed me in after forgetting the one I had for last week! It is tough being older and not feeling well nor able to move my body like I need to do, but I will make it, for my Lord Jesus Christ is with me, Who loves and cares for me and I truly do love Him! There's no doubt I am in His care and have been even when I didn't know Jesus as my own personal Savior like I know HIm now....knew about HIm but not really serving Him or knowing the Biblical Scriptures but Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for leading me into all truth and showing me more clearly the way Home into Your glorious Kingdom! Nope, Bill, wasn't a dram but wish it had been rather than have my neighbors so worried about me....they must have called me a dozen times...by the missed calls on my phone....before they could wake me up....I am thinkin' maybe some one gave me ether or something to keep me asleep while stealing....but won't know everything they stole, if anything else, until I miss it or remember I had it! I called my first cousin Virginia, today, and wished her a Happy 80th Birthday and told her that she was especially blessed with the Lunar Eclipse happening on her b'day....first time they say since 1638, I believe...since no one was alive back then that are alive today...I just can't see how they can determine dates amd what happened so long ago! Anyway, I told her about my ordeal and God protecting me, but I also said, I wish they would have taken all the junk and trash with them, too! Both of us are bad about collecting and keeping things...so we must be related to each other! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
