I think the dawg wants out..........

sled dog businesses. The dogs are raised with the only human contact being diciplined, run, and fed. They generally do not socialize well with other dogs and families so they are killed. It is wrong and should not happen.
The sled dogs i knew when i was trapping were members of the family and well taken care of, nothing like these businesses at all fortunately
There is another bad situation that none want to talk about ......... you have never seen dogs truly abused, starved, and abandoned until you spend some time around northern Indian reserves, and some southern ones also. It was also quite common for us to hear about native children badly injured and sometimes killed by dogs as well.
