Been swinging the Ace going on 3 years now and I do love it, but been watching the finds with the Xterra. The right deal came across and usually I ponder over it. Then when I decide it's gone. This time I just went for it.
Hope the group doesn't mind me asking for help

Happy Hunting

I'm basically a coin and jewelry hunter. When I'm hunting the play grounds or open fields I find the stock coil on any machine works pretty good, but
I love the new 10x14 DD coil I just bought last year for Kellyco for $99.00. It covers ground with ease and pin pointing is a breeze.

When we travel to Maine, or Florida I hunt the beaches for the good stuff. Kellyco has a coil I was wondering if it would be a good investment?

5 x 10" 18.75 kHz Minelab X-Terra Search Coil
(305, 50, 505, 70, 705)
Cat# 237-20210082

Retail Price $180.95
Sale Price $153.95

And do they ever post good used ones on the forum?

And it's getting closer.

Going to put the space heater out side to help melt the snow quicker.

Yes that does come up for sale. I think it is a good coil. The 10.5 HF DD will go deeper but not as sensitive. When Xterra coils come up for sale most of them go quickly to very very fast. Sometimes they last a day or 2.

Read and ask, enjoy
Jeff
