i was abandon to do a solo hunt today :cry:

got up early this morning with a plan to hunt an area that i"v been meaning to hit for years the boy was meant to come to but at the last moment my boy said it was to cold to go so it was a solo hunt today. i hit some local tot lots instead & rounded up some new coins ( about $27 ) for the Kittie also found three US quarters 1966-69-84 & a brass kids ring.
at lunch i changed tactics & went hunting for some old coins i took an hour to get my 1st which was a 1938 penny then half an hour later a beat up silver 1943 threepence showed up & a wile later two more Penny's popped outta the ground 1943-48 that was it for the old coins but just as i was getting ready to go home i found the best find of the day one half of a two piece brass belt buckle with a lions head on it i just love this find.

You're on fire Lazy! Finding 3 US quarters in a single hunt Awesome! I've only ever found 4 US coins ever! Plenty of old Stuff too!
Finds are pretty scarce here. Took the 1500 out for a couple of hours yesterday and only 2 coins ($3). Went out for an hour today, and only 5 cents.:sad:
Had a church function on down your way this week end, but didn't go. Maybe next year and I'll slip a detector in. Wouldn't mind checking out the Miners Den down there either. Heard its an Aladdin's cave.
